RSFLA's 10th Anniversary Celebrations

10th Anniversary

Rivermead Centre
The Rivermead Centre
Venue of the 10th Anniversary Workshop,
Fiesta & Salsa Disco.

As this year marks the 10th anniversary of the formation of the twin town link between Reading and San Francisco Libre - the RSFLA, in conjunction with Reading Borough Council, will be holding a stimulating Afternoon Workshop, a thrilling Fiesta and a fabulous Salsa Disco on Saturday 11th September, at the Rivermead Centre, Reading.

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Reading, Councillor Richard Stainthorp will be attending, ahead of his planned visit to San Francisco Libre later this year.

We are also working to enable a surprise guest to journey from SFL, to discuss the impact of the projects that Reading funds there, and provide an absorbing counter-point to our view of the twinning link.

Members of the RSFLA, of Reading's other twin towns, and those of Nicaragua-focused twinning organisations throughout Britain are invited to participate in lively discussions examining key aspects of town twinning, and Reading's link with San Francisco Libre.

The event will be free, and open to anyone who would like to know more about this fascinating subject. A programme of events is detailed below.

If you are not able to attend all three activities highlighted above, you may prefer to participate in just one or two of them. If you would like to attend any, please let us know as soon as you can, so we can get an idea of the number of people interested.
